About Our Asbestos Abatement Process:
AMA Environmental has a wealth of experience, and our process ensures that your health and home are kept safe. First, we always provide a free estimate of every job. While inspecting the jobsite for the estimate, we provide detailed steps the owner should take, explain our process in detail, and ensure the customer has all the information they need.
If you accept our services, we'll schedule a date to start that works best for you. On the day of the job, we'll arrive on time fully prepared, and immediately start setting up containment.
Containment, is where we fully block off our work area from any other parts of your house or business using 4 and 6mil platic sheets. We also set up a 3 chember decontamination unit to ensure no asbestos leaves the work area when we're entering or exiting containment.
When removing the asbestos, we double bag it in thick bags printed with asbestos warnings, seal them, then clean them so that no asbestos dust is left on the outsides. These bags are then disposed of by us according to OSHA standards.
Once we've finished removing the asbestos, we clean and decontaminate the entire containment. After that, a 90 minute air test is performed by a certified expert to ensure that no asbestos is left.
Lastly, we break down containment, and pack up all our equipment. At the end of it all, we hand you the printed test results, and accept either cash or check as payment!
